Overview

TestForReaction is a browser-based reaction time test. The test can run without an account. Your reaction rounds, average, median, best, worst, false starts, and input mode are processed in your browser while you use the tool.

If you choose to save a score to the public leaderboard, the site submits your five raw rounds, false-start count, input mode, optional nickname, and a Cloudflare Turnstile verification token to the server. The server recalculates the score before saving it.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the reaction test and, when you choose to use it, the leaderboard.

• 01 Reaction test results: five raw round times, median, average, best score, input mode, and false-start status.
• 02 Optional nickname: a short display name for the leaderboard. Blank names are saved as Anonymous.
• 03 Verification data: Cloudflare Turnstile token and related request data used to reduce automated submissions.
• 04 Basic technical data: standard server request information, such as IP address, user agent, timestamp, and requested URL, may be processed by hosting and security providers.

How We Use Information

We use reaction test data to show your local score, generate share text or a share image when requested, and save verified public leaderboard entries when you choose to submit one. We use verification and technical data to protect the leaderboard from spam, abuse, and automated submissions.

Sharing And Third Parties

Leaderboard entries are public if you save a score. The public entry can include your nickname, median, average, best score, input mode, and submission time. We do not sell personal information.

The site is designed for Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare D1, and Cloudflare Turnstile. These providers may process technical request and verification data as part of hosting, storage, and abuse prevention.

Retention And Deletion

Browser-local test data is cleared when you reset the session, refresh the page, or leave the page. Saved leaderboard rows may remain until they are removed during maintenance or in response to a valid request.

To request removal of a leaderboard entry, contact the site operator with enough detail to identify the entry, such as nickname, approximate submission time, and score.

Cookies And Tracking

The core reaction test does not require an account or advertising profile. Cloudflare Turnstile may use privacy-preserving checks when you open the Save Score flow. No Turnstile script is loaded until you open that flow.

Children

TestForReaction is a general browser utility and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a nickname or leaderboard score if you are not allowed to do so in your jurisdiction.
